Anusha Kodithuwakku is a highly accomplished professional with extensive qualifications in Human Resource Management and exceptional achievements in sports. She holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Personnel Management (IPM) Sri Lanka, along with foundational and certificate courses from the same institute. Her professional development is further enriched through participation in various programs, including customer service excellence, motivational training, and career guidance workshops conducted by renowned local and international trainers. Additionally, she has completed a six-month Business English course, enhancing her communication proficiency.

Anusha's athletic achievements are unparalleled, marking her as a trailblazer in Sri Lankan sports. She was a member of Sri Lanka's first women’s rugby team, representing the country at the prestigious Hong Kong Sevens tournament in 2003 and 2004. As a boxer, she made history by becoming the first Sri Lankan woman to win a gold medal at the Asian Championship in 2006 and achieved a global ranking of 7th, the highest for any Sri Lankan athlete in the sport. She served as the captain of the Sri Lankan Boxing Team for eight years and became the first female boxer from the country to win a medal at the Commonwealth Games, earning a bronze in 2018. Inspired by Mr. Dian Gomes’ leadership and vision for Sri Lankan boxing, Anusha continues to contribute to the sport as a member of the International Boxing Association Champions and Veterans Committee. Her blend of professional expertise and outstanding athletic accomplishments reflects her leadership, dedication, and ability to inspire excellence across diverse fields.

She has competed in several international competitions including the AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships in 2012, 2014 and 2016.
